Here’s my story
I’ve had a passion for helping businesses grow since my first “real job” at 21, selling pet supplies to independent pet store owners. Seeing the positive impact on their bottom line and my salary when last month's order of plastic dog beds or budgerigar food sold well.
Today effective demand and revenue generation from marketing is transforming the growth trajectories of B2B companies across all categories.
The principles behind it - identifying stretch goals, developing the right strategy, building the right team, having the most effective processes and using the right tools are both common best practices across all businesses, and at the same time unique to every individual situation.
What is most important is really understanding every organisations current situation, identifying the gaps in performance, then building plans to get to a future state that is based on the critical few high impact drivers, and not trying the boil the ocean.
Over the years I’ve discovered that I’m more of a maker and a breaker, not a caretaker. I love partnering with smart women and men to build these capabilities. I’m less excited about the day to day management.
